Enrolments for the 2026 academic year are officially open at Magic Moments Preschool & Créche, and we are already seeing very strong interest across every single age group. Traditionally our earliest enquiries come from families in Queensburgh, Northdene, Glen Park, Pinetown and Dawncliffe, but this year we are also welcoming enquiries from families relocating from Westville, Kloof and further afield.
We intentionally keep our classes small so that every child is truly known — known by name, known by personality, known by the songs that make them dance, the books that make them giggle and the little worries that need an extra minute of cuddling at drop-off. That commitment to small numbers does mean places fill up quickly, particularly in our Baby Room and our Grade R class, where teacher-to-child ratios are strictest.
Our 2026 spaces are opening in the following age groups. The Baby Room caters for children from six to eighteen months in a calm, low-stimulation environment with individual feeding, sleeping and cuddle routines. The Toddler group welcomes children from eighteen months to three years and is packed with music, movement, messy play, potty-training support and lots of outdoor adventure.
The Nursery class runs from three to four years and starts to introduce themed weekly learning, pre-literacy stories, early number games, art and craft, and structured group activities that gently build focus and stamina. Grade R takes children through the final preschool year with a CAPS-aligned programme covering literacy, numeracy, life skills and phonics — all delivered through carefully designed play rather than rows of desks.
Alongside the main programme, we offer full aftercare until 17:30 for working parents, plus Holiday Care programmes during the shorter school breaks with themed weeks, outings, cooking, art and lots of outdoor fun. Our on-site Kinderkinetics programme and Remedial support are also available on assessment for children who might benefit from extra input.
Fees for 2026 include a nutritious mid-morning snack and cooked lunch prepared daily on-site, all learning resources, art and craft materials, structured Kinderkinetics sessions, and access to our full outdoor playground and facilities. A detailed fee schedule and payment options are available on our Fees page — or the office is happy to talk you through it personally.
Every enrolment starts with a personal school tour. This is genuinely the best way to decide whether Magic Moments is the right home for your child. You will meet Janine and the teachers, walk through each classroom, watch the playground in action, and get straight, honest answers on routines, discipline, meals, illness policies, fees and remedial support. Bring your child along if you would like — we love to see them in the space.
Applications are simple. After your tour, we will send you our enrolment form, doctor's information sheet and school regulations. Once your paperwork is returned with the registration fee, your child's place is secured and we start building the personal profile that helps their new teacher hit the ground running on day one.
The best next step is to book that tour sooner rather than later. Places really do fill on a first-come basis, and no amount of website reading beats standing in the school and feeling it for yourself. Contact our office on 076 553 6257, send a WhatsApp, or use the enquiry form on this page to book your slot. We would love to meet you and your little one.
Come and tour the school, meet the teachers and feel the Magic Moments magic in person.
